Three people were rescued from a car by a Williamston police officer after a tree fell on it Sunday afternoon. It happened on Mill Street Extension near Dean Springs Road. Officer Lauren Mulz was able to make her way through the tree limbs to get to the car and help them to safety. Cheddar firefighters also responded. (Photo by David Rogers)
