While congratulating Pelzer on its recent announcement of both residential and retail developments, West Pelzer Mayor Blake Sanders added that West Pelzer will soon have a new place to dine.
Baby Sumo, a Hibachi style restaurant, will be opening soon at 26 Main, in the previous home of Antonio’s Pizza. The restaurant will represent a totally different dining option.
“West Pelzer is always excited when our neighbors, be it Pelzer or Williamston, announce economic developments. What is great for one is great for all of us. Congratulations to Pelzer.”
The town also has two events scheduled for this weekend. On Friday, volunteers will gather at the town hall at 9 a.m. to pick up litter. That is a natural lead-in to the mile long yard sale that will be held Saturday, from 8 a.m. til 1 p.m. The event always draws big crowds.
