Attorney General Alan Wilson will be the featured speaker at the next
Powdersville Politics meeting on November 1 at 6:00 P.M. at the Powdersville Fire Department.

Anderson County Councilman District 6 Representative Jimmy Davis and
House District 10 Representative West Cox say they are excited to bring Attorney General Wilson to Powdersville to discuss issues facing South Carolina and how the Attorney General’s Office is working on behalf of the state and its citizens.

Powdersville Politics is a new quarterly meeting to discuss issues facing our community, county and state. “The Attorney General runs one of the most important state offices. We hope this will be an engaging time for citizens to come hear about many of the ways this office works on our behalf,” said Rep. Cox. This will be the third meeting of Powdersville Politics.

“We want this to be a time when people can get together and hear about issues going on around them, and gather with fellow citizens who are interested in their government and politics. We’re excited to welcome General Wilson to Powdersville,” said Councilman Davis, adding “We are excited to get folks together and talk politics in our area.”
The meetings will be held quarterly, and Rep. Cox and Councilman Davis both hope this will
provide an outlet for the community, help engage local residents, and bring attention to
Powdersville.
The next meeting will be held on November 1, 2021 at 6:00 P.M. at the Powdersville
Fire Department. Please note the time change from previous meetings. While the name is
“Powdersville Politics” the meeting is open to anyone no matter where you live. For more
