One person was killed Sunday morning in a single vehicle wreck on Palmetto Road. A van ran off the roadway and struck a tree and overturned. The driver, Louise Tollison of Piedmont, died at Prisma Health Greenville Sunday afternoon. West Pelzer and Whitefield firefighters extricated Tollison from the vehicle.
