The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is now reporting COVID-19 data once a week on Tuesdays.
On Tuesday (Mar. 22) DHEC reported 667 confirmed cases and 347 probable cases of COVID over the last seven days. DHEC also reported 60 deaths and 56 probable deaths related to COVID during the week.
There were 230 COVID patients in hospitals across the state with 40 in ICU and 20 on ventilators.

Anderson County had 13 COVID patients in the hospital with 4 in ICU and 1 on a ventilator.
Greenville County had 16 COVID patients in hospitals with 6 in ICU and 4 on ventilators.

Over the last seven days, Anderson County reported 10.28 cases per 100,000 people. Estimated population for Anderson County is 204,353, so about 20.5 cases reported for the county for the week.
Greenville County reported 17.9 cases per 100,000 people with an estimated population of 532,486, Greenville County had 90 cases over the last seven days.
