A twenty one year old woman was found dead in a home Saturday afternoon on Eastview Road. The Greenville county coroner’s office and sheriffs department are investigating the death of Charity Loretta Lee Southerland. According to the Greenville County coroner’s office, Southerland died from multiple gunshot wounds. South Greenville firefighters and Greenville EMS also responded to the scene. GCSO investigating death on Eastview Road
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office is investigating an incident which occurred Saturday at 220 Eastview Road in Pelzer. Deputies received the call just before 2 p.m., Saturday after an adult female was located inside the residence by a family member. Upon arrival, deputies located the deceased female suffering from suspicious, visible trauma.
Following an autopsy by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office, on Monday, the GCSO identified the victim as Charity Loretta Lee Southerland, 21, of Pelzer. The coroner’s office said Southerland died from multiple gunshot wounds.
