Republican West Cox has filed to run for re-election for the South Carolina State House of Representatives District 10. Cox currently serves the northeast Anderson County communities of Piedmont and Powdersville, as well as Easley in Pickens County and part of Greenville County in the state legislature and is seeking another two year term.

“I am running for re-election to the State House because we still have much to accomplish. During my time in office, I have worked tirelessly for the citizens of District 10. I have worked to ensure that government is working in our District and that we are getting the services and resources we deserve. I will continue to work to ensure our state government finds ways to be more efficient and ensure that we, the citizens, get the most out of every tax dollar.” says Cox when asked why he is running for re-election.

“I am proud of my pro-2nd amendment, pro-life record and standing up for fiscal responsibility at the State House. I am also proud of the work I have done in the community during my terms in office,” Cox said

“Our state budgets include no sales tax on groceries, which is more important now than ever with rising inflation and reckless federal policies that are skyrocketing grocery bills for families. Our state budgets include property tax breaks for seniors and disabled veterans, and I’m fighting to keep their property tax bills lower. I have led the fight in Columbia for increasing our state reserve funds and saving more tax dollars so that South Carolina can better face the uncertain future ahead. I am proud of my record and my values. I know my record and my values reflect those of our community, and through leadership and determination, we will continue to build on the work we have done.”

The Republican Primary will be held on June 14, 2022. To register or check your precinct location, please go to www.SCVotes.org.
