The Easter Jam and Community Easter Egg Hunt held Saturday in Williamston’s Mineral Spring Park included a Petting Zoo, Carnival Games, Putt-Putt, Inflatables, Craft Station, Bubble/foam Machine, face painting and lots of fun. There was a food truck, two egg hunts for different ages and the Easter Bunny. The event was sponsored by the Palmetto Business Association and ALIVE Wesleyan Church. Alive Wesleyan Pastor Mark Tolan said more than 600 people registered at the event and even more showed up. “One of our top priorities is kids and families and we’d love to welcome yours for Easter on April 17th at 8:30 or 10am,” ALIVE Wesleyan Pastor Tolan said. ALIVE Wesleyan Church has two locations in the area. The Pelzer Campus is across from FoodLion at 1 Wesleyan Dr. in Pelzer and the Pleasant View Campus is located at 13701 Hwy. 20 in Belton. The Palmetto Business Association has sponsored a community Easter Egg hunt since the 1980s. The PBA is comprised of local businesses working together to make Williamston a great place to work, live and shop.
