Williamston Police Chief Tony Taylor and Envision Williamston Executive Director Roberta Hamby were joined by a group of children for a festive photo during the Envision Williamston Cinco de Mayo event last Thursday in Mineral Spring Park.
The event, sponsored by Envision Williamston and Christina Ortiz State Farm Insurance, included rides, five food vendors, music, a tap truck with different beers and a pinata. “The pinata, with over five pounds of candy, was a great time for the kids,” Hamby said. “Fun was had by all.”
Envision Williamston and the Williamston Police Department will also host a Jazz in June event in the park from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on June 9. Jaime Wright will perform.
