Anderson County will host two early voting locations for the upcoming statewide primaries on June 14. Early voting replaces in person absentee voting.

Governor McMaster recently signed a bill into law for South Carolinians to allow Early Voting. Early Voting in South Carolina will begin Tuesday, May 31 and be available through June 10 for the statewide June primaries.

The two early voting locations are:

Powdersville Branch Library, 4 Civic Court Powdersville, from 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and Anderson County Board of Registration and Elections, 301 N Main Street, Anderson from 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Early voting replaces in person absentee voting, however absentee voting by mail is still being conducted. If you would like an Absentee ballot by mail, contact the Anderson County Elections office at 864-260-4035 or go online to acvote@andersoncountysc.org to initiate this process or visit: www.scvotes.gov.
