Anderson School District One Graduation May 27

Graduation ceremonies for all three Anderson School District One High Schools will be held this Friday, May 27 at at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson. Wren graduates will be the first to receive their diplomas with ceremonies beginning at 9 am followed by Palmetto High at 12 noon and Powdersville High at 3 pm.

Wren High School graduation – 9 am
Emmalee Madison Raymond, Honor Graduate, will have opening reflection. The Wren High NJROTC Color Guard will present colors.
Luke Corley Dawkins, Honor Graduate will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Ryan James Motley, Honor Graduate will sing the National Anthem.
Student Body President and Honor Grad Maggie Elizabeth Nolen, will welcome everyone.
Special music will be presented by Bradley Knight, Concert Chorus Members and Soloists Jacob Kennedy Floyd and Maggie Elizabeth Nolen, Honor Graduate.
Wren High Principal Dr. Seth Young will recognize guests.
Honor Grad John Richard Steele III will give a teacher tribute.
Dr. Young will recognize honors.
Salutatorian Lillian Merrill Smith will give her graduation address titled “A Beginner’s Guide to Building Kaleidoscopes.”
Valedictorian Anna Grace Jellicorse will give her graduation address titled “What Really Matters.”
Honor Grad Anna Reilly Blackston will read a letter to the audience.
Dr. Young will present diplomas, assisted by Kyle Whitfield and Christopher Chapman.
Chloe Emmeline Oliver, Honor Grad, will lead the Alma Mater.
Jacob Fletcher Carroll, Honor Grad will have final thoughts.

Palmetto High Graduation

Palmetto High Graduation will be held at 12 noon.
Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Color Guard will present colors. Honor Grad Michael Thomas Browning will lead the pledge of allegiance. Honor Grad Martin Bradley Ogburn will sing the National Anthem and welcome guests.
Salutatorian Kailee Ashton Lollis will present her student address which will be followed with special music presented by Varsity Choirs. Valedictorian Madison Grace Cox will then give her address.
Honor Grad Brianna Lane Newsome will read a letter from the Class of 2022.
Superintendent Robbie Binnicker and Palmetto High Principal Robert Roach will present diplomas. Assistant Principals William Jones and April Hays will assist.
Principal Roach will confirm graduates.
Grad Claire Elizabeth Barnes will have closing remarks.

Powdersville High Graduation

Powdersville High Graduation Ceremonies will be held at 3 pm at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Honor Grad Katherine Grace Ream will lead a moment of reflection. NJROTC Color Guard will present colors.
Honor Grad Savannah Grace Sturkie will lead the pledge to the flag. Honor Grad Brady James Haas will sing the Star Spangled Banner.
Student Body Co-Presidenst Kaori Allison Roberts and Joshua Daniel Zahran will welcome guests.
Special music will be presented including Concert Choir Members and Show Choir Members.
Powdersville Principal Dr. Adam Lanford will present awards and recognize honors.
Valedictorian and Honor Grad Luke Auburn Hiller will present his graduation address titled “The Game”. Salutatorian and Honor Grad Ryann Ashley Roth will give her graduation address titled “Embracing our Differences”.
Honor Grad Carrie Elisabeth Birchfield will read a letter to the audience.
Dr. Adam Lanford, assisted by Lauree Cole and Phillip Bramblett will award diplomas.
Isha Rajesh Patel, Honor Graduate will lead the Alma Mater.
Senior Class President and Honor Grad Megan Jeanne Carpenter will have closing remarks.
