The Town of Williamston will hold a general election for two council offices on Tuesday, November 8.
The offices of Town Councilman Ward 1 and Town Councilman Ward 2 are up for this election. Books will be open for filing at 12 p.m. on August 3 and remain open during regular business hours until 12 p.m. on August 17. The filing fee for the office of Councilman is $50.
Citizens desiring to be candidates for one of the listed offices may file at the Williamston Municipal Center, 12 W. Main St., Williamston.
Any person wishing to register to vote in this election must do so no later than October 8, 2022.
