Town of Williamston and Envision Williamston is inviting businesses, churches and individuals to participate in a new program to help with beautification and upkeep of shelter spaces and buildings in Mineral Spring Park.

Structures in the park can be adopted through an agreement for a five-year term of maintenance an assigned shelter.
Adopting parties will be responsible for the cleaning and painting (paint will be provided by the Town of Williamston). Any other work that needs to be done will be reported to the Town so that the Town can hire the appropriate professionals. A sign with the Adopters name will be placed on the outside of the Shelter advertising who has adopted it. The sign will remain on the shelter for the duration of the five-year adoption term.
The Adopter will also be allowed to use their shelter, at no charge (provided that it has not already been rented for the day). Additionally, the Adopter will be allowed to decorate their shelter for each appropriate holiday.
“We still have several shelters and buildings available to be adopted,” said Envision Williamston Executive Director Roberta Hamby . For information contact Hamby at (864) 847-7473 for an application and a list of available shelters.
