The Town of Williamston and Envision Williamston will hold a ribbon cutting for a new Dog Park this Thursday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. The facility is located along the banks of Big Creek behind the Williamston Fire Department. It includes a 50 ft. x 150 ft. fenced area with six foot fencing, easy access to the Mineral Spring Walking Trail and three entrances. Gated entrances are located on Mineral Spring Trial side (main) the creek side and rear. There are some dog toys available. Persons using the facility are asked not to park at the fire department.
