Visit Duke Power Festival of Trees – Help Support Piedmont YWCA renovation

Piedmont Historical Preservation Society is participating in the Duke Power World of Energy Festival of Trees at the Oconee site. Visit the World of Energy in December and vote for their tree to help win award funds. “We need your support as we restore the Piedmont YWCA. Check our Facebook page for more information about our restoration work too,” said Anne Peden, Phd. of Piedmont Historical Preservation Society.
“Our vintage themed tree is adorned with Christmas cards from our museum collection dating from the late 1800s through the 1950s. You’ll love it. Take a day and eat at the Lighthouse Restaurant overlooking Lake Keowee.”
The World of Energy is open 10 to 4 Wednesday through Friday, and Saturday 10 to 1, and the Lighthouse Restaurant is open weekdays 11-2/4:30-9 and Saturday 11-9:30.
