Williamston Police officers investigated the following incidents:
Aug. 28 - Alden Bradley Dotson, 17, 105 Eastland Dr., Belton was arrested for simple possession of marijuana, drug equipment violations, reckless driving and DUI after a vehicle was observed on Cherokee Rd. Officers found a bowl used for smoking marijuana and a blunt in the ashtray consistent with marijuana. Sgt. D. S. Fazzone investigated. more . . .

Anderson County sheriff’s Deputies investigated several assaults recently. Among incidents reported were:
Aug. 17 – S. Chandler responded to 101 Longshore Dr. , Lot 19 where William Parris reported that he had been assaulted by James Conard, WM, 32, 5’9", 145 pounds, brn/blue. Conard had been placed on no trespass notice for the Parris’s residence earlier in the day. He denied returning to that location or assaulting Parris but witnesses supported Parris’s account and Conard was taken into custody. He was charged with assault and battery and trespassing . . .

Second shooting suspect in custody

Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Deputies have taken Tiffany White into custody in connection with the shooting of Tywan Lamont Austin. White, 16, turned herself in to authorities at the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office late Tuesday evening and is now in the Greenville County Detention Center. She is being charged as an adult.

Pearson, WF, 24, 5’7", 165 pounds, blond/blue, had left but was located at 20 Finley St. and taken into custody . . .

Man facing numerous charges in auto break-ins

Williamston man is facing numerous charges in connection with a string of recent thefts from vehicles in Williamston. According to Captain Phillip Brown of the Williamston Police Department, Ryan Caldwell, 28, of 5 Scott St, Williamston is charged with nine auto break-ins, theft of a controlled substance, six petty larceny charges, three charges of financial card theft and one charge of financial card fraud . . .
