A mother and her child were killed in an accident near the intersection of SC Hwy. 8 and Midway Road around 2 p.m. Thursday. The accident involved an automobile, SUV and a military type vehicle. Ashley Lehman, 21, of Easley and her two-year-old daughter, Aida Lanae Lehman, were killed in the crash on Hwy. 8 near the intersection of Midway Road Thursday afternoon. A passenger in the Lehman vehicle, Crystal Lynn Keaton, 19, and the driver of the SUV, Grady Harmon, Jr., 53, of Gilbert, were injured.
