Due to State Inspector Registration requirements as outlined by the SC Building Codes Council, we are going to have to replace one of our Building Inspectors. Permitting/Inspections continues to be strong and this leaves us in a position to have to use other staff to off-set this, which in turn may affect other duties. We hope to have a replacement as soon as possible

PAWS attended the Home in the Park event with the adoption trailer, and invited everyone to foster/volunteer/adopt. Started treating dogs that are heartworm positive in order to place them up for adoption.

Animal intake is now requesting that people make appointments to turn in animals.  This encourages people to find an alternative home for their pet and decreases long wait times at the shelter to surrender a pet.  We are offering assistance if needed. Food/spay/neuter.
