Single vehicle accident – Smoak Road

Two people escaped serious injury Saturday night in a single vehicle accident. It happened on Smoak Road near Circle Road in Powdersville. The vehicle ran off the roadway and into a ditch. Pelzer EMS checked the occupants but did not transport. Powdersville firefighters also assisted EMS. (Photo by David Rogers)

South Greenville firefighters responded to a single vehicle accident on Friday night on West Georgia Road to find no one around the heavily damaged SUV. Single vehicle accident – Dorchester Road

Whitefield firefighters work to clean debris from the roadway after a single vehicle accident on Dorchester Road Sunday morning. The driver of a sport utility vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a traffic control sign and then ran off the left side of the road and struck another. VW strikes power pole – Traffic rerouted for several hours

A VW ran off Highway 77 and struck a power pole breaking it in two. Traffic was rerouted around the scene for several hours until a new pole was set. SUV overturns – Willingham Road

Whitefield firefighters gather information following a single vehicle accident on Willingham Road Saturday night. An SUV overturned into a ditch near Jalan Drive. Firefighters along with Williamston EMS arrived to find the vehicle overturned against some tress and a fence with no way to gain entry to check on patients.
