Williamston police busy during holiday period

Williamston Police officers were busy over the holiday period. Among incidents investigated were the following:

Jan. 8 – Brittany LeeAnn Jones, 22, 2 Aderwood Ct. Belton was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle and improper tag display after a vehicle was observed on Minor St. with only one working tail light and no tag light. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Jan. 7 – Nelson Lewis Skelton, 57, 124 Sylvia Rd., Belton was arrested for open container in vehicle after a red Chevrolet pickup was observed on Gossett St,. with a tail light out. T. J. Richardson invetigated.

Jan. 6 – Santiage Hernandez, 54, 20 Crawford Rd., Williamston was arrested for no SC drivers license after a blue Nissan Quest was observed on Sullivan St. and Anderson Dr. J. Rogers investigated.

Jan. 6 – Kendra Ann Mack, 40, 6 Park St., Williamston, was arrested for simple possession of marijuana and improper turn signal after a silver Chrysler turned down East Carolina St., without using a turn signal. A passenger in the vehicle, Montaro Mattison, 31, 208 Burt Dr., Anderson was arrested for simple possession of marijuana. T. J. Richardson, Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Jan. 6 – Ronald L. Phillips, 35, 228B Johnson Rd., Pelzer reported underpinning valued at $100 removed from property at 502 Tripp St. Sgt. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Jan. 6 – Lila H Brockman, 71, 440 Crosby Cr. Greenville, was arrested at WPD for outstanding bench warrant. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Jan. 4 – Devon Tyler Watt, 17, 418 McAlister Rd., Williamston was arrested at Palmetto High School for two outstanding bench warrants. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Jan. 4 – Nathaniel Lee Washington, Jr., 21, 8 Natick St., Piedmont was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for public disorderly conduct. Lt. T. A. Striss investigated.

Jan. 3 – Jordan A Mardis, 26, 207 Evergreen St., Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for shoplifting. Sgt. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Jan. 3 – Debit cards and a SC ID card in the name of Judy Ann Bennett and other items were found on the floor of the restroom in Mineral Spring Park. The items were placed into evidence. D. M Stipe investigated.

Jan. 3 – Justin Dean Shouse, 28, 110 Shaw Dr. Lot 26 was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office notified WPD that he was in custody. J. Rogers investigated.

Jan. 2 – Woodrow Tyler Pace, 20, 103 Forest Hills Dr., Williamston was arrested for trespassing at Allstate Textile, 547 Mill St., Williamston after officers responded to an alarm at the business. A juvenile was also charged and was released to his mother. Sgt. K. J. Winn, M. E. Simmons investigated.

Jan. 2 – Robbie Grice Rogers, 48, 150 Stewart Lake Rd., Pelzer was arrested for driving under suspension after a white Ford pickup was observed on Greenville Dr. with the driver not wearing a seatbelt. Sgt. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Jan. 1 – Officers investigated a report of a prowler on Church St. The suspicious person identified as a black male wearing a hooded jacket, grey shirt, blue jeans, could not be located. M. E. Simmons investiated.

Dec. 31 – Officers found a set of golf clubs in a University of Georgia golf bag in front of Fiesta Mexican Rest. The clubs, valued at $100, were placed into evidence. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Dec. 31 – Roberts Dolan Farmer, 54, 511 Gossett Dr., Williamston was arrested for disorderly conduct after being observed walking on Gossett Dr. with a plastic cup. T. A. Striss investigated.

Dec. 31 – Ernest Coy Ratcliffe, 36, 110 Julian Dr,. Westminster was arrested for outstanding bench warrants for disregarding a stop sign and driving under suspension after the Belton Police Department notified WPD that he was in custody. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Dec. 31 – Felix Bello Ortiz, 30, 4 Ramster St., Belton was arrested for open container, driving under suspension and no seat belt after a vehicle was observed on Gossett Drive with the driver not wearing a seatbelt. A passenger in the vehicle, Sulpicio Tiatempa was also charged with open container.

Dec. 30 – Hoyt McCuen, Jr., 52, 119 Wililamston Court, Williamston was arrested for assault and battery 3rd degree after officer responded to the address in reference to a domestic dispute. M. E. Simmons, M. C. White investigated.

Dec. 30 – Michael Anthony Hicks Jr., 18, 1016 Shady Grove Rd., Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after Hicks appeared in the lobby of the WPD. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Dec. 30 – William Robert Prather, Jr., 32, 3 River St., Pelzer was arrested for outstanding bench warrants for driving under suspension and disregarding a stop sign after Belton Police Dept. notified WPD that he was in custody. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Dec. 29 – Kelly Marie Townsend, 34, 100 W 1st St. Williamston was arrested at 100 E. First St. for an outstanding bench warrant for shop lifting. Sgt. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Dec. 29 – Christian C. Brock, 21, 1030 Jordan Rd., Lyman was arrested and jailed on an outstanding bench warrant after the WPD was notified the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office had him in custody. SGT/SRO L. D. Ritter investigated.

Dec. 29 – Amanda Joyce Fowler, 29, 10B Church St. Williamston was arrested for two outstanding bench warrants after the Greenville County Sheriffs Office notified them she was in custody. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Dec. 28 – Shane Todd Jackson, 40, 208 Briar Ridge #E, Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after a burgundy Chevrolet Trailblazer was observed on W. Main St. The tag was registered to a Ford Escape. The driver of the vehicle, Sherry Pierce Jordan was issued a ticket for no drivers license in possession and failure to return a suspended tag. E. T. Dec. 27 – Anthony Brett Whitlock, 20, 30 Mill St., Williamston reported an assault and a gun stolen from his vehicle during an incident at 614 N. Hamilton St. According to reports, he was assaulted by three juveniles. A female juvenile passenger also reported being hit in the throat by one of the offenders. The gun, a silver High Point .380 was valued at $200. SGT/SRO L.D. Ritter, L. E. Mulz investigated.

Dec. 26 – Brittney Juanita Cameron, 23, 630 Joe Black Rd., Williamston was arrested for possession of a schedule IV narcotic, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving under suspension 2nd offense after a Jeep Cherokke was observed passing an 18 wheeler in the turn lane at Academy and Main. Officers found a pill bottle containing a yellow rectangle shaped pill thought to be Zanax in the vehicle and a pill identified as Clonazepam in her purse. L. E. Mulz, T. A. Striss investigated.

Dec. 26 – Jeffrey Scott Brown, 32, 105 Mackey St., Williamston was arrested for criminal domestic violence after officers were dispatched to 1 Church St,. Apt. 181 in reference to a domestic disturbance. T. A. Striss, L. E. Mulz investigated.

Dec. 26 – Johnny Ray Morgan, 50, 602 Looperville Rd., Piedmont was arrested for driving under the influence after a white Ford pickup was observed on Main St., with no headlights on. Sgt. K. J. Winn, M. E. Simmons investigated.

Dec. 25 – Officers responded to a motor vehicle fire at Suntrust Bank, 1 North Hamilton St, Williamston. According to reports a 1985 CJ7 Jeep caught fire while the vehicle was at the ATM. Williamston Fire Department responded and put out the flames which started under the hood. The flames did approximately $15,000 in damage to the building and ATM. The vehicle was valued at $3,500. K. Dec. 24 – San Antonia O Lindus, Crosby, 20, 1014 S Fant.St. Anderson was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after a gold color Honda was observed failing to dim lights on Anderson Dr. A passenger in the vehicle,Mitch Lee Heyward, 32, 1130 Antioch Church Rd., Greenville was arrested for open container. Dec. 23 – Shana Kristine Barnett, 22, 7 Finley St,. Pelzer was arrested for driving under suspension and failure to return suspended tag after a white Chevrolet Impala was observed in the parking lot of Main St. Motors. T. J. Richardson investigated.

Dec. 23 – Brandon Curry, 25, 304B Eunice Dr., Greenville and Jamal Smith (no information provided) were both arrested for outstanding bench warrants after a vehicle was observed avoiding a traffic safety checkpoint on Greenville Dr. The driver of the vehicle, Smith was also charged with driving under suspension. Dec. 23 – Sabastian Diego, 42, 14 Loom St,. Greenville was ar

rested for no SC drivers license after a Nissan van was observed at a traffic safety checkpoint on Greenville Dr. D. M .Stipe investigated.

Dec. 23 – Victor Carrillo Cuevas, 33, 101 Kirsh Dr., Williamston was arrested for no SC driver’s license after a Ford Explorer was observed at a traffic safety checkpoint on Greenville Dr. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Dec. 23 – Robert Lee Sloan, St,. 32, 336 E. Hampton Ave, Honea Path was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for open container and driving under suspension after the Greenville County Detention Center (GCDC) notified WPD that he was in custody. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Dec. 23 – David Eugene Kilgore, 23, 206 Oak Ct., Piedmont was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for driving under suspension, operating an uninsured vehicle and allowing operating an uninsured vehicle after WPD was notified by GCDC that he was in custody. M.E. Simmons investigated.

Dec. 22 – Michael David Boggs, 19, 324 Campbell Rd., Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after WPD was notified that the Anderson County Detention Center (ACDC) had him in custody. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Dec. 21 – Loretta Ann Davis, 54, 108 Davis St., #6, Williamston was arrested for public disorderly conduct after officers responded to Davis St. in reference to a suspicious person sitting at the edge of the roadway. M. E. Simmons, T. A. Striss investigated.

Dec. 21 – Joshua David Frazier, 28, 118 Dalewood Dr., Simpsonville, was arrested for driving under suspenion after a gray Chevrolet Monte Carlo was observed with a passenger side headlight out. T. A. Striss, M. E. Simmons investigated.

Dec. 21 – David Meade of The Greater Williamston Business Association reported a lighted Christmas Tree valued at $1000 missing from Mineral Spring Park. The tree was one of four in the GWBA display. Sgt/SRO L. D. Ritter investigated.

Dec. 20 – Jonathan Dean Jackson, 42, 1103 Beaverdam Rd., Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrants for possession of marijuana, unsafe equipment and no proof of ownership. E. T. Hutchins, K. D. Lollis investigated.

Dec. 20 – Chivez Maurice Washington, 24, 21 Brown St., Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for simple possession of marijuana. E. T. Hutchins, K. D. Lollis investigated.

Dec. 20 – Sonya Lynn Roof, 43, 906 Garren Rd., Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant with Anderson County. K. D. Lollis, E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Dec. 19 – Roger Aron Barnett, 28, 218 Williamston Ct., Williamston was arrested for public disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after officers responded to Parkview Apts., 100 Williamston Court. Capt. E. S. Russell investigated.
