Incidents investigated recently included the following:

Jan. 12 – Cash Time Inc., 8 Greenville Dr., Williamston reported an incident in which two counterfeit checks, both from a company JMZ Masonry for $290.10, were presented at the business. Warrants are expected on two individuals. Sgt. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Jan. 12 – Cynthia Ann Bagwell, 51, 204 Emily Ln., Piedmont was arrested for public disorderly conduct after being observed walking in the middle of the road on Academy St. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Jan. 10 – Sherry Renee Martinez, 30, 208 Woodtrail Dr., Williamston reported a Taurus 22 caliber firearm stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the Williamston Park Apartments. The gun was valued at $290. Sgt. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Jan. 9 – Joshua Michael Deese, 30, 236 Smith Dr., Pelzer was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension (2nd) after a black motorcycle was observed on Greenville Dr. and East Carolina with a pager tag. A small pipe consistent with illegal drug use was found on him. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Jan. 5 – Stefanie Bowen Ridley, 27, 111 Pelzer Ave., Williamston reported baby shoes valued at $25 stolen from her mailbox. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Jan. 9 – Sharon Beddingfield, 9 W 4th St., Williamston reported someone took her wallet containing several cards and $145 in cash. L. E. Mulz investigated.

January 10 – Unlawful use of telephone with threats reported.

Jan . 11 – Obscene, harassing phone calls reported.

Jan. 7 – Sandy Bowman, 60, 17 Woodmere Ct., Williamston reported items taken from the property by two females. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Jan. 9 – Gary Tom Westberry, 45, 230 Peach Tree St,. Atlanta,was served with a warrant from Dekalb County. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Jan. 10 – Officers investigated an incident in which a Collie type dog attempted to bite several people in the vicinity of 108 West 1st. St. The dog had been picked up before for running at large and attempting to bite animal control officer and neighbors. The dog’s owner allowed animal control to take the dog to the animal shelter because it was vicious and dangerous. Sgt. D. W. Bryant investigated.

Jan. 10 – Earnest William Cain, 43, 12 Bruce St., Williamston was arrested for criminal domestic violence after officers responded to the residence in reference to a domestic dispute. M. E. Simmons, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Jan. 13 – Alejandro Gomez-Guzman, 27, 253 Longview Dr. Williamston was arrested for no SC drivers license after a red Ford Explorer was observed on Hamilton St., with a brake light not working. M. E. Simmons, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Jan. 13 – Dollar General, 526 West Main St., Williamston reported a shoplifting incident in which three subjects entered the store and took a bottle of Palmers Cocoa Butter valued at $4.24. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Jan. 15 – Rite Aid, 201 E. Main St., Williamston reported a shoplifting incident in which a subject took a 50 ounce bottle of Gain laundry detergent and a pack of Oxi Clean laundry packs valued at $20. A nineteen year old female admitted to taking the items which were returned to the store. The female, Morgan Alexis Winiecki, 19, 105 Green St., Williamston was placed on trespass notice. Sgt. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Jan. 11 – Jerry Allen Harper, Sr., 101 W Fifth St., Williamston reported two 40 lb. propane tanks taken from a camper. The tanks were valued at $75. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Jan. 14 – Stephon Taishon St John, 21, 39 Market St. Williamston, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a vehicle was stopped on Greenville Dr. A silver Fuzion scale was found under the front passenger seat. According to reports, St. John admitted the scale was his and stated he had it “so that when he buys weed he is getting the correct amount.” T. J,. Richardson investigated.

Jan. 14 – Paul Weaver Shiver, Jr., 33, 610 S. Main St., Belton was arrested for expired license plate and driving under suspension after a 1994 Ford Bronco was observed on Greenville Dr. with no license plate. T. J. Richardson investigated.

Jan. 14 – Francisco S. Sebastian, 36, 617 W. Main St., Williamston was arrested for no drivers license after a Chevrolet pickup was observed on West Main with one working headlight. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Ja. 15 – James Lewis Mundy, 21, 232 Mauldin St., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension after a Ford pickup was observed on Main St., with the driver not wearing a seat belt. Sgt. B. C. Kelley investigated.

Jan. 19 – Manuel Lerma, 31, 25 Ridge Ct., Williamston was arrested for no SC drivers license after a blue van was observed on West Main St. with a brake light not working. M. E. Simmons, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Jan. 21 – Allen Thomas Smith III, 25, 101 Carraige Farm Ct., Gray Court was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after Mauldin Police advised WPD he was in custody. D. M. Stipe investigated.

Jan. 22 – Kasey Bryan Griswold, 30, 8 N Charles Drive Rd., Greenville was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for driving under suspension after WPD was notified that Greenville County Sheriff’s Office had him in custody. J. Rogers investigated.
