A Williamston man was arrested Friday for an incident involving a 16 eyar old girl. Williamston Police Officers arrested William Davis Harrison, Jr., 50, 114 Mattison Dr., Williamston, and charged him with two counts of lewd act on a minor after an incident was reported on Jan. 18.

According to reports, the incident allegedly took place Jan. 1, 2009 and involved a 16 year old female. It was a second offense for Harrison according to Williamston Police Captain E. S. Russell. Harrison is listed as an adult Tier III offender on the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office website.

The incident occurred in Williamston according to arrest warrants.

Among other incidents investigted were:

Jan. 28 – Tanaze Monquis Richey, 22, 536 Mahaffey St., Ext. Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant. Sgt. D. W. Bryant investigated.

Jan. 27 – Eirka Gail Moore Richardson, 27, 150 Smythe Ln. Pelzer was arrested for outstanding bench warrants for failure to pay fines on charges of simple possession of marijuana, speeding and failure to stop on command after the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office notified WPD that she was in custody. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Jan. 27 – Chandler Allen Lindekugel, 43, 2 A Black St., Williamston was placed on trespass notice for 19 Stone St., Williamston. Sgt. D. W. Bryant, L. E. Mulz investigated.

Jan. 27 – Allison Renee Staton, 39, 418 Youth Center Rd., Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after West Pelzer Police Department notified WPD that she was in custody. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Jan. 28 – Christopher Anthony James, Jr., 19, 106 Island Dr., Pelzer was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after an Anderson County Deputy notified the WPD that he was in custody. L. E. Mulz investigatated.

Jan. 28 – Summer Nicole Smith, 21, 109 Pendleton Ct., Easley was arrested for possession of stolen goods, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving under suspension after a gray Dodge was observed on Greenville Drive and then in the parking lot of a business. T. J. Richardson investigated. Passenger in the car, Christopher Carroll Reid was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and Ashley Nicole Thomason, possession of drug paraphernalia.
