Go Kart racers from all over the country participated in one of the largest races in the sport over the weekend. The Possum Kingdom Super Speedway hosted the DynoCams Tri-State Pro Series Kart Race drew approximately 1000 entries who competed for $40,000 in prize money. Kart racing on the quarter mile dirt oval reached speeds as high as 90 mph and provided plenty of thrills. The facility will host several events including the season opener for the Chase’n Race’n Pro Kart Tour on February 24-25 and the Maxxis Maxx Daddy Championships on June 30. It is located off Hwy 247 on Acker Rd.
