Two Powdersville Middle School sixth grade students, Lauren Pittman and Abby Goforth, also were recognized for their entries in Anderson County Keep American Beautiful t-shirt design contest. Lauren’s design won Grand Prize, and will be printed on promotional t-shirts. Abby Goforth’s design won first place in the sixth grade division. This year’s theme was, “The World is Your Backyard – Keep it Clean!” The show will be available for viewing through March 23, 2012 at the Anderson County Arts Center.
