Terry Sims, a second grade student at Fork Shoals School in Pelzer, went to Garnett, South Carolina, to compete in the South Carolina Youth Raccoon Hunting Championship 2012 at the Webb Wildlife Center on Saturday, February 25th.
He was accompanied by his parents, Tony and Vickie Sims of Fountain Inn. Terry and his eight-year-old Walker female, “Granny,” finished first in his cast and fourth in the junior division. Terry has two older brothers, Tony, Jr., and Allen Clark.
