Pendleton hosted the Upstate Cycling Classic Bike Race this weekend. Saturday’s Road Race consisted of an 11 mile loop through Pendleton and the surrounding country-side through rolling hills and open farmland. Photo left – Riders in the Category 3 race make their way through downtown Pendleton.
Riders looped through downtown Pendleton with the Start/Finish located on East Main Street. Sunday’s Crit was a fast, wide open, four corner 1K course around Downtown Pendleton with a slight uphill on one side and a downhill on the other.
