1st Monday Club of Anderson will meet on Monday, April 2nd at the Anderson YMCA on Community Road from noon until 1 p.m.
Special guest speaker will be U.S. Representative Jeff Duncan. Elected in 2010 to the 112th Congress, Duncan currently sits on three House committees including the Natural Resources Committee, the Homeland Security Committee, and the Foreign Affairs Committee. Additionally, Congressman Duncan was appointed by Speaker John Boehner to the Executive Committee for the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission.
Lunch will be catered by Chick Fil A of Anderson and will consist of a box lunch including a chicken sandwich, slaw, fruit cup, brownie with tea or lemonade at a cost of $10 per person.
