Four individuals were arrested Friday and are facing drug charges after the Williamston Police Department and Anderson County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. team executed simultaneous search warrants at two locations within the town of Williamston, according to Williamston Police Chief Jay Grubbs.

Austin L. Mosley was charged with distribution of crack cocaine, distribution of marijuana and simple possession of marijuana; Damion T. Sanders was charged with distribution of crack cocaine; Pedro Salas Lopez was chaged with loitering for solicitaton of drugs. A fourth person, Thomas Adams, was charged with failure to stop on police command.

Officers investigated several domestic disputes and a harrassing phone call incident in which no arrests were made. Several minor incidents were also investigated including:

Mar. 21 – James Tyler Jernigan, 20, 1204 Easley Hwy., Pelzer was arrested for outstanding bench warrant in Greenville County after he was located on E. Fourth St. in Williamston. Capt. E. S. Russell investigated.

Mar. 19 . Annie Ruth Chastain, 4W 2nd St, Williamston reported damage to a power box and a piece of siding missing from her home. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Mar. 21 – Two men were arrested after ten chain link fence posts valued at $200 were reported stolen from the Veterans Park located off Gossett St. in Williamston. Joshua Michael Deese, 30, 1 Wardlaw St., Pelzer was arrested and charged with larceny and issued a ticket for the theft. He was also arrested for outstanding bench warrant on an unrelated incident. Another person, only identified as Thomas, was also arrested and charged with the theft. The items were recovered and returned to the town. J. Harris, Lt. T. A. Striss investigated.

Mar. 21 – Pamela Owens, 12 Gray Dr., Williamston reported a sign missing from the ballfield area off Minor St. The sign was valued at $20. Lt. T. A. Striss investigated.
