A Piercetown firefighter and state trooper walk past one of two vehicles involved in an accident early Monday morning on I-85. According to officials, a tractor trailer changed lanes and slammed into the rear of a sport utility vehicle near Highway 81.
Both vehicles were traveling north and both vehicles had to be towed. The two occupants in the SUV were transported to Anderson Area Medical Center by Medshore Ambulance Service. The tractor trailer was on the way to the BMW plant with a load of transmissions that had been flown into Huntsville AL airport from Germany. (Photo by David Rogers)
