ELI CRIBB
Eli Cribb, infant son of Kenneth Dale Cribb and Holly Marie Page, of Pelzer, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Emma Taylor Cribb, of the home.
Graveside services were held Friday at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

JIMMY ROACH
Jimmy Edward Roach, 61, of Anderson, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his home.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of Betty Harrison Mashburn and the late James Roach. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a counselor for Behavioral Health Services in Pickens County. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are his son, Jeremiah Roach of Westminster; daughter, Meagan Roach of Charleston; one grandson; mother, Betty Harrison Mashburn of Pendleton; and siblings, Barbara Joy of Williamston, Tommy Roach of Pendleton, Carolyn Burdette Hicks and Vernon Mashburn, both of Anderson.
A memorial service was held Saturday at Sulivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel.

JOHN ALBERT DAVENPORT
John Albert Davenport, 76, of Anderson, died April 20, 2012. He was born in Piedmont to the late Thomas A. and Lestia Davenport.
Surviving are his wife, Bobbie; daughters, Maria Dickson of Anderson, Carolyn Davenport of Greenville, Lestia Davenport and Everett Hutto of Rock Hill; sons, Joseph Davenport of Piedmont, Walter Davenport of Anderson, Mike Davenport and Petra Mrazek of Tanzania; and four grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
A private memorial service will be held.

WILBUR ANDERSON, JR.
Wilbur Anderson, Jr., 69, of Taylors, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at his home.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Wilbur Anderson, Sr. and Helen Brockman Anderson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Antonia Golden Anderson; step-daughters, Chrystal Jones of Piedmont, Natosha Golden and Channie Gray, both of Greenville, Jasiliki Golden Davidson of Athens, GA, Vivian and Lanquita Gray, both of Taylors; sons, Deamond Wilbur Anderson of Fountain Inn and Doreian Donyell Anderson of Taylors; step-sons, Erick Bennett of Mauldin, Robert Gray of Taylors and Jay Gray; sister, Vermel Williams of Taylors; brothers, Lee V. and Gary Anderson, both of Taylors, and Larry Anderson of Greer.
Funeral service was held Friday at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary. Burial followed in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

BOYCE CALHOUN
Boyce Mac Calhoun, 79, widower of Sara Louise Johnson Calhoun died Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Born in Forest City, NC to the late Marion Washington Calhoun and Ethel Estelle Vassey Calhoun, he was a member of Piedmont Church of God.
Surviving are two sons, Mike and Ricky Calhoun; five daughters, Judy Durham and Natosha Thompson, Cindy Golden, Doris Marusa, and Jan Calhoun; three sisters, Doris Brown, Sybil Rhodes and Hazel Davis.
Funeral service was held Monday in the Chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service.

REPHARD “RIP” GEORGE
Rephard “Rip” Clyde George, 80, of Pelzer, husband of Fumi Namizato George, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Thomson, GA, he was the son of the late John Callaway and Geneva Allen George. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are his son Rephard George, Jr. of Duncan; brother Harold George of Mauldin; and sister Leveda.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.

ROBERT EDEN SCOTT
Robert Eden Scott, 69, of Greenville, died Saturday, April 14, 2012.
Born in Port Arthur, TX, he was the son of the late Robert Burch and Emma Lee Scott.
He had been employed by Security Forces, Inc. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his sister, Sherry Captain of Piedmont.
Funeral services were held April 24 at Garden Memories Funeral Home, Tampa, FL. Burial followed in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

NICHOLAS MORRA, JR.
Nicholas Morra, Jr. and his daughter Nikki Marie Morra, of Piedmont, died Friday, April 20, 2012.
Nicholas was born in Glencove, New York; he was the son of Nicholas and Carol Smith Morra, Sr.
He is survived by his parents; sisters Missy Richards, of Stanfield, NC; Tabitha Jones, of Piedmont, SC; and Leolyn Brown, of Townville, SC; and brother John Morra, of Piedmont, SC.

ELSIE PATRICK
Elsie Jean Patrick, 75, of Pelzer, wife of Floyd Patrick, Jr., died Sunday, April 22, 2012.
Born in Rural Retreat, Virginia, she was the only daughter of the late Ernest and Ennis Buck Kinder.  She retired from the State Farm agency in Greenville.
She was a member of Augusta Road United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Floyd (Sonny) Patrick, III, Ray Patrick, Robert Patrick; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; four brothers, Frank Kinder, Bill Kinder, Bobby Kinder, and Doug Kinder.
Funeral services were held April 25 at Augusta Road United Methodist Church, 8324 Augusta Road, Pelzer. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

DAVID RAY GOSNELL
David Ray Gosnell, 58, of Belton, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Charleston, SC on Aug. 14, 1953, he was the son of Mary Drake and the late Alvin Drake, and husband to Jo Ann Gosnell.
In addition to his mother and spouse, he is survived by seven children; a brother, Roland Drake; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at Oaklawn Memorial Park on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Bill Bryant and Randy Fleming officiating.
The family is at the home of his wife, Jo Ann Gosnell.
Woodlawn-Sosebee Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.

CAROL REEVES
Carol Ann Blackston Reeves, 65, of 97 Mr. John’s Choice Rd., wife of James Randolph “Randy” Reeves, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Anmed Health Medical Center.
Born in Pelzer, she was the daughter of Margaret Browning Pierce and the late John Clayton Blackston.  She was retired from Duke Power and Piedmont Natural Gas. She was a member of Outreach Fellowship in Piedmont.
Surviving are her husband of the home; sons, Jeffrey Todd Reeves of Lexington, Jason Russell Reeves of Hartwell, GA; her mother of Piedmont; brother, “Terry” Blackston of Piedmont; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service was held April 25 at Outreach Fellowship.

SUE SHAW BALE
PELZER – Sue Shaw Bale, 74, of 4 Conner Street, widow of Jim Reeves, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 23, 2012.
Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late William Blythe and Carrie Evans Shaw.  She was a retired school bus driver from Anderson School District One and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Surviving are sister, Vicki S. Galloway of Williamston; brothers, Bobby J. Shaw and wife, Diane of Donalds, William S. Shaw and wife, Carolyn of Belton; many beloved nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Visitation was held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 2-3:30 pm at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services followed at 3:30 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Burial was held in Pine Lawn Cemetery, Pelzer.
The family is at the home of Vicki Galloway, 110 Shorebrook Drive, Williamston.

SONNY LINDSAY
Ray Douglas “Sonny” Lindsay, 72, widower of Sadie Bell Sullivan Lindsay, of Belton, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at AnMed Health Center.
Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Roy C. and Evelyn Branyon Lindsay. He was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Goodman Conveyer.
Surviving are two brothers, Olin Lindsay of Belton and Donald Lindsay of Honea Path; eight sisters, Marion Banks of Donalds, Jeanette Reed of Belton, JoAnn Sellers of Anderson, Betty Wilson of Williamston, Judy Knight, Carolyn Ashley, Clara Ashley, and June Gambrell, all of Honea Path.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial wil follow in Garden of Memories.

PAUL EVERETT WORKMAN
Paul Everett Workman, 57, died Saturday, April 21, 2012.
He is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Workman, Carolyn Strange, and Elizabeth Martin; nine sisters and brothers; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bible Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
