Williamston Police report light activity

Williamston Police Officers reported a light week of activity, investigating the following incidents with arrests: June 26 – A town of Williamston employee reported a lock cut on a water meter at 14 Poinsett in Williamston. Sgt. SRO L. D. Ritter investigated.

July 13 – Gabriel Garcia Aguilar, 35, 200 HI Taylor Rd., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension, no SC drivers license and unsafe equipment after a vehicle he was driving approached a vehicle traffic safety checkpoint at Main St. and Oak St. A passenger in the vehicle, Marlyn Rodriquez was arrested for open container and public disorderly conduct. L. E. Mulz investigated.

July 15 – Kelsey Jo Mulherin, 21, 6 Jansson Ct. Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tag light after a silver color vehicle was observed on Academy St. with no tag light. Reports state she was cited for the tag light when officers observed rolling papers in the car. A search also found a pink container with a green leafy substance. B. Hardy investigated.

Officers also investigated a number of domestic disputes, however no arrests were made.
