$250,000 lottery ticket sold in Piedmont


If you purchased a Mega Millions® ticket from Hickory Point #36 at 2312 Easley Highway in Piedmont, then you might be $250,000 richer. A ticket sold in Piedmont matched all five white ball numbers drawn Friday night.

Had the ticket holder purchased Megaplier® for an extra $1, the $250,000 Match 5 prize would have been an automatic $1 MILLION. The odds of winning 250,000 are 1 in 3,904,701.

More than 6,800 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $2 up to $250,000. Of these, more than 2,200 players purchased Megaplier® to see their winning amounts multiplied by “3.”
