Williamston to honor Senator O’Dell


The Town of Williamston will honor Senator William H. “Billy” O’Dell for 23 years of service to residents of Senate District 4 on Friday, Sept. 14 at 12 noon at the Williamston Municipal Center.

Senator O’Dell is the longest serving senator in the Historic Pendleton District and represents portions of Abbeville, Anderson and Greenwood Counties. He has served the area since being elected in 1988.

Williamston Mayor Carthel Crout and the town invite the public to the event.
