Wofford Coach
The Anderson Area Touchdown Club will meet this Friday, Sept. 14 at 12 noon. Guest speaker will be the dynamic head football coach of the Wofford Terriers, Mike Ayers.
Coach Ayers has filled the position at Wofford since 1988, after stops at Georgetown College, Newberry, Richmond and East Tennessee State.
Each week, the Club honors outstanding players and coach from the games played the previous Friday night. Honored on Friday, September 7th were: Offensive Korey Thompson, BHP; Defensive Dalston Davis, Crescent; Lineman Daniel Moody, Wren; Coach Jeff Murdock, Crescent.
The meal line opens at 11:30AM and the cost for visitors is $15. New members and visitors are welcome . Individual memberships are $50 and a Corporate membership is $200 (includes 5 memberships). Meal costs for members is $10.
