Williamston Police Officers investigated two separate incidents in the same general area in which shots were fired from a pistol and a resident may have been shot by a BB gun. Among incidents investigated were:

Sept. 18 – After family members were unable to locate her, Sabrina Landrette Hayes, 17, 115 Mackey St., Williamston was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and public disorderly conduct after being observed in a parking lot on Greenville Drive. L. E. Mulz, Lt. T. A. Striss investigated.

Sept. 17 – Kenneth Scott Campbell, 35, 2020 Bethany Church Rd., Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after Honea Path Police Dept. notified WPT that he was in custody. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Sept. 14 – Allison Renee Staton, 40, 12 Green St., Pelzer was arrested for possession with intent to distribute controlled subtance and driving under suspension after a vehicle was observed at the intersection of Ida Tuucker Rd. and Cherokee Rd. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Sept. 12 – Jamiraio Damon Timpson, 25, 102 Brock Forest Dr., Anderson was arrested for shoplifting (3rd offense) after officers were dispatched to 309 East Main St., Sav-Way in reference to a black male on a bicycle attempting to take a Bud Light from the store. Timpson was located on East Carolina St. and transported to the WPD, officers observed an unopened 18 ounce Bud Light beer in the floor of the vehicle. L. E. Mulz, Capt. E. S. Russell investigated.

Sept 10 – McGee Heating and Air reported a former employee had taken a cash payment of $109 in June for a job in Williamston and failed to turn in the money. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Sept. 10 – Sherry Lynn Kelly, 38, 4 E 2nd St., Williamston reported being shot with a bb gun or air soft gun. The incident remains under investigation. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Sept. 8 – Chanda Ann Bell, 28, 110 Gossett St. Apt A5, Williamston reported an Acer laptop valued at $150 taken from the residence. Sgt. E. T. Hutchins investigated.

Sept. 11 – Joe Earl Kinard, 206 Woodtrail Dr., Williamston was issued a trespass notice for 303 Hardy St. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Sept. 11 – Jerry Lewis Saxon, 50, 25 Strangle St., Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrant for public disorderly conduct and open container after ACDC notified WPT that he was in custody. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Sept. 11 – Michael Clay Donahue, 20, 127 Ambrose Rd., Pelzer was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle and outstanding warrant after a Ford Bronco was observed on Anderson Dr. with a tag for a Buick. R. E. Bell investigated.

Sept. 11 – A 14 year old student at Palmetto Middle School, 803 N. Hamilton St., Williamston reported a white Iphone4 valued at $300 missing from her jacket. SGT/SRO L. D. Ritter investigated.

Sept. 11 – An employee of ACE Hardware reported a cell phone valued at $300 taken from an office at the store. M. E. Simmons investigated.

Sept. 11 – Porsha Nicole Williams, 19, 143 Crown Court, Williamston was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to yield after a green Honda pulled in front of a car driven by Richard Lane Earle, 55, 2400 Old Williamston Road, Anderson. Williams stated she drove her vehicle to her residence because she was scared. She was issued tickets for leaving the scene, failure to yield and violaton of a beginner permit. Sgt. E. T. Sept. 1 – Annie Ruth Chastain, 69, 4 W. 2nd St., Williamston was arrested for assault and battery first degree after Kyle Robert Graham, 18, 12 West Second St., and David Christian Graham, 20, of the same address, reported that she had fired shots at them while they were standing in the roadway. Reports state Graham thought the gun was a pistol. Chastain stated she felt threatened and fire two shots into the air to scare Graham off. D. M. Stipe, R. E. Bell investigated.
