BOO in the Park Saturday

Williamston’s annual Boo in the Park event will be held on Saturday, October 27 from 5-9 p.m. in Mineral Spring Park. The event will include entertainment, costume contest, fire truck rides, free candy for kids and other special activities. Signup for the costume contest for ages newborn to 12 years will be at 6:30 p.m. all entries will receive a gift certificate and prizes.

Entertainment will include:

5 p.m. -6:30 – Jack’s Drum Shack

6:30-7:00- K&M Dance Studio

7:00-7:30 – Halloween Costume Contest for ages 0-12 years.

7:30-8:30- – Williamston Restoration Chapel F2O Clown Ministry.

Williamston Fire Dept will have rides on their antique fire engine and the Williamston Area Historic Commission (WAHC) will have a “Spooked Hut” with a wicked witch.

Other activities include Pelzer Church of God will have a puppet show on the gospel stage and free hotdogs, Real Life Church in Pelzer will have free face painting and the Cowboy Church will have games and other activities.

Food vendors will have funnel cakes, cotton candy, and caramel popcorn.

The Greater Williamston Business Association and ogranizers will have candy.

The community event is sponsored by area churches, Springwater Committee members, the Greater Williamston Business Association (GWBA) and The Town of Williamston.
