MICH McCLELLION
ANDERSON – Joseph Michael “Mich” McClellion, 25, of 705 Brown Road, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012.
Born November 30, 1986 in Anderson, he was the son of Jo Gayle Copeland McClellion and the late William Richard “Dicky” McClellion. Mich was a graduate of Camden Military Academy and was attending Tri-County Tech. He was part owner and operator of the Anderson Jockey Lot and attended NewSpring Church.
In addition to his mother, Mich is survived by his brother, William Richard “Mac” McClellion, III; 2 sisters, Amanda Caron McClellion Downs, Sara Elizabeth McClellion, all of Anderson and step-sister, Whitney Sloan Ramsey of Pendleton; aunt, Mary Jane Carraway of Anderson; grandmother, Lettie Ann Copeland Wright and nephew and niece, Chase and Erin. He was preceded in death by his father, “Dicky”; brother, Matthew “Jet” McClellion; grandparents, William Richard McClellion, Sr., Sara Lois Cobb McClellion and Joseph Copeland.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 until 3pm at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, 3205 North Hwy 81.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 3:30pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the home of his mother, 1108 Greenacres, Anderson.

BOBBY JOE ‘PETE’ BOYLES
Bobby Joe “Pete” Boyles, 81, of Anderson, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late John Henry Boyles and the late Ellie Farrow Boyles. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired contractor salesman and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Roberts Boyles of the home; son, Rev. Joel Boyles of Clemmons, NC; daughter, Leibeth Ford of Williamston; brother, Bill Boyles of Anderson; sister, Betty Whaley of Florence; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.

FLORINE GRUBBS
Florine Alexander Grubbs, 80, of Liberty, wife of the late Fred Edger Grubbs, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at AnMed Health Center.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Robert and Onie Turner Alexander, she retired from J.P. Stevens Corp. and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Jerry A. Grubbs of Pelzer, Jimmy Grubbs and Freddie E. Grubbs III, both of Liberty; two daughters, Patricia Brandt of North Augusta, and Rose Grubbs of Liberty; brother, Elijah Alexander of Greenville; sister, Sue Alexander of Greenville; 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial followed in Graceland West Cemetery.

AGNES KINARD COTHRAN
Agnes Kinard Cothran, 84, widow of Willie “Bud” Cothran Jr. of Belton, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Leila Mayfield Kinard. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church of Belton.
Surviving are sons, Michael  Cothran of Anderson and Randy Cothran of Belton; daughter, Karen Saxon of Belton; brother, Joe Earl Kinard of Williamston; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Monday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Cedar Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Riverside Baptist Church of Belton.

DENNIS BROWN
Dennis Leon Brown, 54, of Pelzer, died Sunday, October 21, 2012, at the home of his parents.
Born in Pelzer, he was the son of Leon and June Childs Brown.  He worked at Fabri-Kal.
In addition to his parents, of Williamston, he is survived by his sisters Wanda Scroggs of Pelzer, and Susan Patterson of Anderson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

JEFFERY SCOTT ORR
Jeffery Scott Orr, 37, died Saturday, October 13, 2012.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of Alice Orr and the late Ricky Orr.
In addition to his mother he is survived by a daughter, Lindsey Brown; and sister, Kelly Burnett.
A memorial service was held October 19 at Agape Church, Piedmont.

BETTY LOUISE MORTON GRICE
Betty Louise Morton Grice, 78, of Piedmont, wife of Randall D. Grice, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012.
Born in Walhalla, she was the daughter of the late William Earl and Annie Lou McDonald Morton.
She was a former accountant and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Deborah Conwell of Woodruff; son, Rodney Taylor of Powell, TN; stepdaughter, Julie Livingston of Easley; stepsons, Danny Grice of Spartanburg, Bobby Grice of Mauldin and Cherokee Grice of Piedmont; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, William Lake Morton of Travelers Rest.
Funeral service was held October 19 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel. Burial followed in Graceland Cemetery West.

LUCILLE TEMPLETON
Thelma Lucille Cowart Templeton, 82, of Piedmont, wife of James Robert Templeton, died Friday, October 19, 2012, at her home.
Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late John C. Cowart and the late Edith Mae Emory Cowart Buchanan.  She was a homemaker and a member of Rockvale Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Patsy Ayers of Piedmont, Sharon Sprouse of Simpsonville, Deborah Espinet of Sanford, FL, Terri Pedersen of Soldatna, AK, and Kimberley Templeton of Piedmont; son, Danny Templeton of Anchorage, AK; sisters, Audrey Goode of Chesnee, Ruby Upton of Pacolet, and Pauline Johnson of Greenville; numerous grandchildren great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held October 22 in the chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Burial followed at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

TONY COKER
BELTON – Tony Calvin Coker, 57, husband of Susan Dean Coker, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at his home.
Born in Pelzer, he was a son of the late Benjamin Calvin and Florence Davis Coker.  He was retired from Michelin Tire Co. and a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Belton.  He was a Mason.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are son, Matthew Coker of Belton; daughter, Melissa Coker of Easley; grandson, Mattox Coker; and brother, Joe Coker of Raleigh, NC.
He was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Coker.
The family received friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
Funeral services were held 2 pm on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Greenville Memorial Gardens mausoleum chapel.

RUTH HENSON PACK
Piedmont, SC – Ruth Henson Pack, 92, wife of the late Thomas Carl Pack, Sr., died October 22, 2012.
Born in Williamston, she was the daughter of the late John W. and May Chandler Henson.
Ruth retired from JP Stevens, Corduroy Cutting and was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, John W. Pack and his wife, Ramona of Simpsonville; a daughter-in-law, Lib Pack, of Piedmont; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Carl Pack, Jr., and a sister, Mary Lou Henson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of The Mackey Mortuary, officiated by Reverend Justin Gilreath.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:30 – 2:45pm at the mortuary.

CAROLYN FRANCES BUBEK
Carolyn Frances Bubek, 90, of Anderson died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
She was the wife of Harold Francis Bubek of the home.
Surviving are children, Peter Thomas Bubek of Townville, Virginia Helen Bubek of Anderson, and Loraine Marie Higgins of Williamston; and one grandchild.
Born in Franklin Square, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert Smith and the late Agatha Hurbert Smith.
She was employed with Island Federal Bank in Franklyn Square, NY.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna and of St. Joseph’s in Anderson.
Memorial service will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at 1 p.m.
