Williamston man charged with rape of 13-year-old babysitter


A 28-year-old Williamston man has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a 13-year-old babysitter. Bradley Allen Neaves, 28, 1006 Anderson Dr., Williamston was arrested October 11 and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

According to police reports, the Williamston Police Department was notified by a Palmetto Middle School counselor that an incident had happened involving a 13 year old female being sexually assaulted/raped by Neaves.

According to reports, the minor was babysitting a small child for Neaves and his wife as they were packing in preparation for a move to Texas. After they stopped packing, the victim stated that after they stopped packing the wife went to bed and she and Neaves were sitting on the couch watching a movies when Neaves began touching her inside her clothing and then “pinned” her down on the couch, removed her pants and underwear and “raped” her.

Following an investigation, Neaves was charged wth CSC 2nd degree and appeared before Judge Woodson who denied bond. He was transported to the Anderson County Detention Center.
