Greenville Sheriff’s Office looking for DG break-in suspect

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Department is looking for information related to the break-in of the Dollar General store located at 2310 W. Georgia Road in Simpsonville.

According to reports, on January 17, 11:10 pm an unknown white male broke into the Dollar General on W. Georgia Road while the store was closed. After entering the store the suspect went throughout the store taking various items. The items taken from the store were valued at $49.

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes Unit were able to obtain photographs of the suspect from the store’s video surveillance system. The suspect is described as a white male with a bald or shaved head, approximately 19 to 25 years old, 5’08” to 5’10” and weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds. Investigators are asking the public for assistance in identifying this man. Anyone with information regarding the subject is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
