The driver of a pickup truck looks back at a fallen tree that he struck late Monday night on SC 81. The driver was traveling south on SC 81 when he struck part of a large fallen tree and then collided head on with a northbound car. Pelzer EMS responded to the accident but no one was transported. Three and Twenty firefighters helped move the tree out of the roadway. The southbound lane on SC 81 was blocked for about an hour while the tree was removed. (Photo by David Rogers)
