“The Cornerstones” were recently invited to the Richard Campbell Veterans Home by “The Joyful Noisemakers” Homer and Medonna Johnson from Belton, who have been ministering at the Veterans home for quite some time. This was a first time for The Cornerstones Bob Sheperd and Bill Slager to visit the home and it was a great honor to minister, and be with the men and women who served us so well.

About 30 to 35 residents came and enjoyed the tunes that inspired them in the past “Hallelujah Square, This World is Not My Home, Beulah Land, Where Could I go” and many more. A couple of tunes requested by the individual Vets “How Great Thou Art and Amazing Grace”, singing along side “The Joyful Noisemakers” all who could joined in did, and lifted a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Though our stay was but a morsel of time. We look forward to visiting these men and women proudly in the future. Already in planing a patriotic tribute to those who serve.
