Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Apr. 13 – Jamie Lee McKellar, 32, 16 Mineral Park Ln, Williamston was arrested for four outstanding warrants from Anderson City Police Dept. T. D. Hoover investigated.

Apr. 11 – A Williamston police cruiser was struck in the driver’s side by a deer while patrolling on Mahaffey St. and Academy St. causing $200 in damage. Sgt. K. J. Winn reported.

Apr. 9 – Williamston Police Officers were dispatched to the Williamston Ball Fields after being notified that a parent had found a small plastic bag containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. The contraband was turned over to officers and placed into evidence. A. Eliopoulos investigated.

Apr. 8 – Gregory Fostell Rutledge, 57, 5 E. Church St., Williamston was arrested for public disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to Brown St. in reference to a subject with a knife. Reports state he had a machete, a straight razor and a folding box cutter. T. D. Hoover investigated.

Apr. 8 – Addie Lollis, 113 L St., Williamston reported a hole cut in a bedroom window screen causing $100 in damage. D. Crawford investigated.

Apr. 14 – Ron Differ, 501 Tripp St., Williamston reported an incident of vandalism in which a mailbox valued at $200 and a speed limit sign were damaged. D. Crawford.

GREENVILLE COUNTY

Greenville County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated an incident in which a resident at 385 Holland Ford Road, Pelzer reported a gunshot through a sliding glass door causing $600 in damage. E. Weinmueller investigated.Williamston Police Report
