The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident in on Stringer Road in which Robert Ronald Jones, 63, was killed. Anderson County Deputy Coroner Charlie Boseman said Jones went to 625 Stringer Road to the home of a woman he had an on and off relationship. According to reports, a 17-year-old at the home attempted to separate the two during an argument and Jones allegedly pulled out a hand gun, aiming it at both the woman and her son.
A 16-year-old son came out of the house armed with a shot gun and fatally shot Jones. Anderson County Sheriff’s Investigators plan to present the evidence to the Solicitors Office who will determine if charges will be brought or not. Both teens attend T.L. Hanna high school.
