Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Apr. 14 – Leo Conwell, 73, 616 N. Hamilton St., reported vandalism to a vehicle. Reports state the suspect was messing around the vehicle and then left on foot and got into a red pickup truck. On initial investigation Conwell did not see anything wrong with the vehicle. On Apr. 22, Conwell reported he believes the suspect cut his CV joint and removed the front left strut and shock from his 2003 Buick Lesabre causing $500 in damage. A. Eliopoulos investigated.

Apr. 20 – Charlotte Charlene Bigsby, 45, 108 W. Second St,. Williamston was placed on trespass notice for 101 W. Second St. after Bigsby and the person who lives at that address, Roseanna Galliher assaulted each other. Both parties stated they did not wish to press charges. A. Eliopoulos, R. Drennon investigated.

Apr. 18 – A 16 year old male juvenile was arrested for simple possession of marijuana at Palmetto High School, 804 N. Hamilton St. Reports state a plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was found in his possession. The substance weighed three grams. The juvenile was released to parents and the incident will be referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice. Sgt/SRO L. D. Ritter investigated.

Apr. 16 – Shanna Joy Vandiver, 23, 225 Williamston Circle reported a burgundy 10 speed mountain bike valued at $90 removed from in front of her apartment door. L. E. Mulz, Chief Taylor investigated.

Apr. 16 – Robert Paule Coupie, 43, 16 E. First St., Williamston was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after being observed on Williams St., Ext. A white baggie constaining a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was found in a black backpack Coupie was carrying. L. E. Mulz, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Apr. 13 – Barry D. Thompson, 50, 206 Waterfront Dr., Williamston reported a autobreaking in which someone unlawfully entered his 1997 Toyota Tacoma and ransacked all of the compartments.. Sgt. K. J. Winn invesitgated.

Apr. 15 – Officers investigated the theft and recovery of a white Jeep Liberty belonging to Jessica Pinyan. According to reports the vehicle, valued at $1500, was reported stolen from 229 Longview Dr., in Piedmont. It was recovered on Payne Dr. in Williamston. Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies were contacted and arrived to take statements since the incident orginated in the county.Cpl. L. E. Mulz, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigvated.

Apr. 18 – Osmond Danielo-Salguero, 39, 29 Knight St., Williamston was arrested for providing false information to evade arrest, and perjury/false infromation on required documents after officers executed a search warrant at the address. Admin. Capt. K. Marsee investigated.
