FLORINE BROWN
WILLIAMSTON – Ethel Florine Brown, 69, of 111 Gray Drive, widow of Bobby James Brown, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Anmed Health Medical Center.
Born in Williamston, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Maggie Lee Smith Gilreath.  She was retired from the Milliken Co. and a member of Pelzer First Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Fred S. Brown and wife, Nancy A. Brown of the Cheddar Community, Michael J. Brown and wife, Mary Oneida Brown of Sandy Springs; daughters, Tammy Brown of Williamston, Julie A. Brown and husband, Robert Lanford of Landrum; grandson, Christopher S. Mullikin of Anderson.
She was predeceased by a brother, Freddie Lee Gilreath and a sister, Mary Jo Webb.
Visitation was held from 7-8:30 pm Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
The funeral service was at 2 pm on Friday, July 12, 2013 in the funeral home chapel with Revs. Barry Garrett and Amelia Carpenter officiating.  Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson.

JUDY AIKEN
Judy Francine Brady Aiken, 58, of Greenville, wife of Luke P. Aiken, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
Born in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of Willene Phillips Brady and the late Ralph Brady, Jr. She was a homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are children, Joseph Brady Watford, Joshua Caleb Watford, Katie Elizabeth Aiken, all of Greenville; brother, Ken Brady of Piedmont; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Saturday, July 13 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Burial followed in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

HELEN S. JANULIS
Helen S. Janulis, 83, of Greenville, died Sunday, June 30, 2013.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of Constantine and Anna Symeonides. She was of the Greek Orthodox faith.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Alexander Theodore Janulis.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Janulis of Kingsport, TN and Mark Janulis of Williamston; thee granddaughters; and a brother, Jeffrey Symeonides of Paramus, NJ.
Funeral service was held Saturday, July 13 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

MARY ALICE YOUNG
Mary Alice Young, 91, of Pelzer, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the home of her daughter, Paula Diane Reid.
Funeral service was held Sunday, July 14 at the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

HELEN ANN RICE WILLIAMS
Helen Williams, 63, of Pelzer, died July 8, 2013.
She is survived by her daughters, Keikictric Williams and Nivea Griffin; four grandchildren; sister, Annie Lee Williams; and brothers, Jamal Haadee (Nathaniel Ware), Lieutenant Rice and Roy Rice.
She was predeceased by her parents, Theo and Recie Jackson Rice.
Funeral service was held Sunday, July 14 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

JERRY TROTTER
Jerry David Trotter, 67, of Piedmont, husband of Peggy Holliday Bohanan, died Monday, July 15, 2013.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late James William and Frances Bishop Trotter. He was a U. S. Army veteran and was self-employed.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Brenda Kirby of Hain City, FL, and Renee Burton of Dover, OH; brothers, Wendel Trotter, Sr. and Bobby Trotter; special granddaughter, Tiffine Holder; eleven additional grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Guthrie Grove Church of God of Abrahamic Faith Cemetery with visitation following at the church fellowship hall.
Family members are at their respective homes.

BETTY JANE OWENS HANING
SENECA – Betty Jane Owens Haning, 81, wife of James Fred Haning, Sr., of Seneca, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
A native of Pelzer, Mrs. Haning was the daughter of the late Millard Fillmore Owens and Bessie Jane Clardy Owens Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Hepsibah Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Haning is survived by sons: James F. Haning, Jr. (Lynn) of Williamston and Doug Haning of Anderson; daughters, Wanda Lindsay (John) of Mississippi, Donna Williams (Mike) of Rock Hill, and Daysa Lewis (Craig) of Hartwell, GA; sister, Margaret Hiott of Williamston; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will be Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Red Cross, Oconee Chapter, 224 East Main Street, Walhalla, SC 29691, and Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
The family is at the residence.

DEBORAH SABRINA OWENS ARNOLD
Deborah Sabrina Owens Arnold, 52, of Pelzer, died Monday. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and a graduate of Palmetto High School. She is the daughter of the late Fred Owens and Betty Jean Howard. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Brittany Arnold; son Royriquez Rishun Owens; sister, Robin Owens; one step-sister, Rachael Thompson; brother, Derrick Owens; step-mother, Sharon Owens; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.

MABEL GUYTON PARROTT
Mabel Guyton Parrott, 103, of  Greenwood, died at her residence at Wesley Commons on Saturday, July 13, 2013.
Born in Williamston, she was the daughter of the late Aaron M. Guyton and the late Eva Vandiver Guyton. She was the wife of the late Rev. Glenn E. Parrott.
She was a home maker and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Williamston.
Survivors include;  brother, Pat V. Guyton of Paoli, PA; two grandsons; and five great-grandsons.
A private family memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, on Monday, July 22.
