Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents:

Aug. 11 – Lori Harris, 49, 3 Ridge Row St., Piedmont reported super glue put in her storage building lock at 620 Greenville Dr., Williamston. The lock was valued at $10. Cpl. L.E. Mulz, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Aug. 6 – Emauuel Fitzgerald Donaldson, 48, 114 Landau Ln, Anderson was issued a trespass notice for Complete Healing and Wellness, 24 E. Main St. after officers were dispatched. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

Aug. 6 – Daniel Christopher Bennett, 24, 1022 Cloud Dr,. Belton was arrested for theft of a GPS unit from a black Volkswagen Jetta while the vehicle was at 201 E. Main St. The Garmin GPS was valued at $100. M. E. Simmons, C. Whitfield investigated.

Aug. 4 – Samuel Evatt, 67, 104 Graham Ct., Williamston reported vandalism to a 2005 Ford Edge causing $500 in damage. According to reports, rocks were apparently thrown at it. R. Drennon, T. Eichelberger investigated.

Aug. 3 – William Bruce Mays, 31, 318 E. Carolina St, Williamston was arrested for CDV simple assault after officers were discpatched to the residence. T. Wichelberger, R. Drennon investigatated.

Aug. 3 – Melissa Davenport Crowder, 44, 309 E. Carolina St., Williamston was arrested for disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to the address in reference to a disturbance. According to reports Crowder was throwing bricks and bottles at residents on a back porch at the apartments. T. Eichelberger investigated.

Aug. 1 – Williamston police officers investigated vandalism in the men’s restroom in Mineral Spring Park.According to reports there were several “Gang Tags” painted on the walls causing $600 in damage. T. D. Hoover investigated.

July 31 – Jonathan Israel Gonzalez, 7604 S. Hamilton St, Williamston reported items taken from the residence including a Keenwood Stereo, 32 inch Samsung TV, box speaker and copy machine The items were valued at $590. Cpl. L. E. Mulz, Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.

July 31 – Rickey Emanual Acker, 52, 309 E. Carolina St, Williamston reported a stove/range oven valued at $400 taken from the residence. C. Whitfield investigated.

July 30 – Kelly Anne Wright, 35, 6 Virginia Dr. Williamston reported while using the restroom facilities in the park, an unknown female opened the door and yelled something. A light bulb was thrown into the restroom which shattered over the floor. J. Rogers investigated.

July 29 – Officers investigated an attempted burglary at the old water plant, 111 College St. in Williamston. According to reports, an employee of the town reported that unknown suspects broke into the building by prying open the door to the control room and opened electrical boxes. A broken brick was also thrown through the front window and a side window. The Anderson County Forensics processed the scene, lifting prints and taking photos. D. Crawford investigated.
