Williamston Police Report

Williamston Police Officers investigated several auto break-ins in the mill village vicinity. The following incidents were investigated:

Aug. 19 – Chris Guthrie, 611 S. Hamilton St. reported he had purchased a 1993 Ford F-150 truck about a month ago and had not been able to take delivery of the truck. The truck was located in a parking lot at Prince St,. and W. Main. Guthrie was advised to contact the County Magistrate to recoup the money or get papers stating he could lawfully take possession of the truck. J. Rogers investigated.

Aug. 18 – Leslie Annette Smith, 27, 14 Academy Dr,. Williamston reported someone broke into her 2005 Chevy Tahoe and left a CD case with CDs in the vehicle. The driver’s side window was also damaged. Cpl. L. E. Mulz investigated.

Aug. 19 – Andrea Williams, 23, 102 W. Fourth St. reported someone entered her vehicle and stole a wallet containing $30 in cash and a bag of clothes valued at $200. The vehicle was unlocked. C. Whitfield investigated.

Aug. 20 – Rhiannon Nicole Alexander, 22, 4 Transylvania St., Piedmont was arrested for simple possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at Tripp St. and Bigby St. According to reports officers found .7 grams of marijuana and a grinder under the seat. C. Whitfield investigated.

Aug. 21 – Tonya Southerland, 112 W. 1st. St., Willliamston reported someone broke into her 2002 Nissan Altima. A brown leather wallet valued at $50 and contents were missing from the glove box. R. Drennon investigated.

Aug. 20 – Susan Lynn Watkins, 53, 110 G St., Williamston reported someone entered her Dodge Durango and took a Kindle Fire HD and case valued at $250. The vehicle was not locked at the time. T. D. Hoover investigated.

Aug. 17 – Tammie Ruth Wright, 37, 116 Bob Hadden Rd., Belton reported her bank card had been used at an ATM to withdraw $300 from an account.. Capt. K. Marsee investigated.

Aug. 20 – Annie Mae Maw, 79, 3 W 3rd St., Williamston reported someone siphoned $30 in gas from her Ford Taurus. T. D. Hoover investigated.

Aug. 19 – Heather Nichole Condrey, 24, 130 W 1st St., Williamston reported somone obtained $5 in funds from her checking account without her permission. There was also an attempt to use the account for a transaction for $89. T. Eichelberger investigated.

Aug. 19 – Shannon Dominic Black, 32, 407 E. Main St., Williamston reported a tool box and tools valued at $106 taken from a GMC truck while at 130 W. First St. M. E. Simmons investigated.
