Williamston EMS personnel along with Whitefield firefighters prepare to take the driver of a Ford to an awaiting ambulance after a two car collision on US 29 North Friday afternoon. The Ford was struck by a Chevrolet that was attempting to cross US 29 from Welcome Road. The impact caused the Ford to overturn. She was taken to an area hospital by EMS.
