Fall Festival October 5 in Pelzer

The Pelzer Heritage Commission will host the Pelzer Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m in the Pelzer Monkey Park.

The event will feature a variety of activities and entertainment. There will be business and craft vendors, a fire prevention display by the West Pelzer Fire Department, a classic car show, bouncies, “human hampster” balls and other activities for children.

Opening Ceremony will be at 10 a.m. led by Grady Turner.

Entertainment beginning at 10 a.m. will include David Coleman, 10:45 – The Register Family, 11:30 – Dwayne Capel, 12:15 -The Other Side and 1 p.m. – Living Truth.

At 2 p.m. entertainment will include a variety of dance demonstrations by K&M Dance Studio followed by Barnyard on a Freight Train Band at 3 p.m.

Twenty-five vendors are expected with jewelry, wreaths, Christmas items, painted jars, ceramics, gourd birdhouses and many other items.

Businesses will also have displays and information.

Food vendors will offer ice cream, popcorn, funnel cakes, sausage dogs, fried Oreos, cotton candy, tacos, chicken on a stick, caramel popcorn, chocolate peanut butter balls, baked goods and other items.

The Pelzer Heritage Commisssion will also have new Pelzer Monkey Park T-shirts and a limited supply of ornaments available. They will also have pumpkins for sale for fall decorating.
