Williamston’s annual Boo in the Park event will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 5-8 p.m. in Mineral Spring Park. The event will include entertainment, costume contest, fire truck rides, a puppet show, free hotdogs, free candy for kids and other special activities. Volunteers, churches and area businesses interested in helping with the event are asked to call Dianne Lollis at 847-5743 or Ellen Harvell at 847-5588.
The Greater Williamston Business Association, Town of Williamston and ogranizers will provide candy. Any church or organization interested in participating is welcome to, Lollis said.
The community event is sponsored by area churches, Springwater Committee members, the Greater Williamston Business Association (GWBA) and The Town of Williamston.
